Animation Software

Post by NikeDr » Fri Mar 16, 2012 5:59 pm

Hi. I'm going to studying animation, and want to ask you, what program do you use? I'm working in 3d Max (hard surfaces for gamedev) but heard that Maya is much better for that purpose. There are many others programs for animation, and i doubt , is it worth it to studying Max animation?

I am using 3dsMAX 2010,
I'd say MAX and Maya are equally viable programs in the games and movie industry.
Normally people learn one of the two first and then expand on to the other. And then keep learning so the industry won't leave you behind. Unless you're just learning it for yourself, then you can just stay with one of the tools.

Thanks. Your animation is very good and now I know that Max can do such things . I'm glad to know it , because i hate Maya's interface.
I have some experience in props and environment stuff creation , so sometimes you can refer to me .
