About two weeks ago I had the idea of taking one of my T-Rex toys to upgrade it to a more agile piece. Since then I ordered 3 different sets of Servos and some Taxidermy glass eyes. It has been a while since I put so much time into a project without drifting of to do other things and I am pretty happy with the results so far. The original Toy has this button on its back.. and when you press it the leverage will cause the arms and jaw to move. Also the eyes light up green and he screams like Godzilla.

Taking him apart was a bit hard, I had to break a few places as they were glued together but it shouldn't leave any visible marks. Good thing I bought two of them back then, now I have the original to compare to at any time. Just today I finished gluing in the last Servo all I need to do now is wait until the glue is fixed, and then I need to put him back together.

A few days ago I glued in the new Eyes, the effect is amazing.
I cannot wait to see it all put together, but I already know the servos won't work as well as I imagined, the toy is just too small.. it took me quite a bit to find servos small enough to fit in there, and now it turns out these servos are so small the resolvers resolution causes the servo to move in visible steps. But any movement is better than what the model used do.
